Employees and a partner at Shropshire financial advice firm DRE & Co Financial Planning LLP have won three prestigious industry awards.
Following his successful Cautious Investment Planner of the Year award at 2012’s ceremony Stephen Jones, partner at DRE & Co Financial Planning LLP, has won Financial Planner of the Year at this year’s Money Management Awards. The event, organised by the Financial Times specialist publication, Money Management, took place in London at the end of October and is recognised by professionals as the Oscars of the financial services industry. Jones finally deposed Matthew Hodge who had won the title for the past four years in a row. In addition, Chris Marshall secured Tracker Planner of the Year for his work on low cost tracker investment funds and Warren Bentham the Chartered Insurance Institute Paraplanner of the Year at the Personal Finance Society Chartered Awards.
Stephen Jones said: “One of our key selling points is that everyone who works at DRE & Co Financial Planning LLP is continuously learning, either by upgrading their skills and knowledge through exams or as in the case of Money Management, being rigorously tested and interviewed to reach the final stages of the competition and then, if like last year, going forward to win an award.
